This book writing/publishing journey has been quite an
experience. Many of you know that I
first self-published my first novel, SEASONS OF HOPE and launched it on my 50th
birthday in 2014. Later that year, my
book was reviewed and accepted by a Christian Publishing company. I was so excited! It was so important to me that my book be
accepted in the Christian Community and their acceptance was confirmation to me
that I was on the right track.
There were many lessons to be learned about the publishing
business. I learned a lot of them. Let’s just suffice it to say that SELF
PUBLISHING has many advantages and is economical.
I severed my contract with the publisher and went back to
self-publish my work. In doing so, I
realized that I did not need third parties (Amazon, Barnes and Noble) to help
sell my book. Direct selling of my book
makes better cents!!!
